Planning your dream wedding in the Mediterranean? Why not draw on the stunning beauty of the Italian sunshine to create a summery look for your bridesmaids.
Sunshine and Lemonade
Think of Italy and images of sitting under a clear blue sky will often spring to mind. Use this to your advantage for a “sunshine and lemonade” look. Combine rich pale blues with fresh lemony yellow for a zingy colour scheme that’s full of life.
Go for an unconventional approach and dress your bridesmaids in skirts and tops. Tulip skirts made from silk in sunshine shades will offset simple blue tops beautifully. Or, if you’re feeling less bold choose pretty satin dresses in blue then add yellow accessories.

And of course, you shouldn’t rule out the classic combination of red, white and green. The colours of the Italian flag and a bold choice for your bridesmaids’ dresses. There are many different routes to go down with this colour scheme: a white dress in linen or cotton with red and green trimmings will look summery and fresh. Red dresses with full skirts and green and white accessories are dramatic and chic. Or defy convention with white cropped trousers, fitted green blazer in a light fabric and red finishing touches.
